Member of Talsi Brushwood Art Group. Graduated Forest Faculty at the Latvia Academy of Agriculture (1976) and Higher Course in Design of the Art Academy of Latvia (1979). Paints abstract,expressive compositions, also creates objects, installations and performances. He is a furniture designer. Works have been exhibited in France, Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands, Estonia, Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Belgium, Turkey, Ukraine, Georgia, Italy and Finland. Member of the Artists Union of Latvia (1999).
