The Pentecostal Church building
Located on Lielā-Street 30, the former Orthodox Church has a rich history. Before it began serving the Pentecostal congregation, the building was a beloved cinema for the townspeople, and it also witnessed lively days as a tavern. The idea of turning the Orthodox church, built in 1888, into a tavern or something similar did not sit well with Pastor Pāvils Pūliņš. When the building was slated for privatization, the Pūliņš family decided to purchase and restore the property. Today, the Pentecostal congregation holds worship services in the small hall of the church building.
