In 1860, with the care of the owners of the Dundaga Manor, the Osten-Saken family, a beautiful, impressive church was built—a single-nave longitudinal building with an apse, sacristy, and a massive square-plan tower with a pyramidal top. The altarpiece was painted by the artist Šēfers and still occupies a place of honor in the church.

In July 2020, a joint exhibition “The Story of Ģipka Church” was opened at the Roja Museum and Ģipka Church Parish. In this exhibition, you can learn about the history of the church, its twists of fate, and the people who have participated in the creation of this story.
