Open-air stage „Jēgerleja”

One of the most important places for maintaining traditions in Mērsrags parish is the renovated open-air stage “Jēgerleja”. Summer solstice, Fisherman’s Day, concerts, outdoor cinema screenings, sports and dance and other events are held here. At one time, Dzirnavkalns was located in this place with all the mills that were destroyed in the First World War.
