“Ainas maize” (Aina’s Bread) is a living legend in the bakery scene in the town of Talsi and out-of-town region. Baker Aina Šteinberga has created 10 bread recipes resulting in bread that would please even the fussiest gourmets. “Rugāji”, a part of the Rocežu manor, the former stable, is Aina Šteinberga’s family home since 1983. Rye bread, rye bread with dried onion, rye bread with smoked meat, carrot bread, pumpkin bread, olive bread, tomato bread, dried fruit bread and the very last invention, traditional bread with smoked meat and herring – Aina Šteinberga offers various kinds of bread to her customers.
