Boat rental along the Roja River

The Roja River is scenically beautiful and suitable for leisurely boating. The surroundings of the river are diverse, with a variety of plants, majestic trees, beaver habitats, and in spring, there’s the spawning of lampreys, while in autumn, the salmon run. The surrounding forests offer a variety of berries and mushrooms. Fishing is also possible in the river during permitted periods.

The most suitable route for boating is approximately an 8km stretch from Žocene to Roja. Along the way, various sections of the river have designated spots for launching and disembarking boats, allowing boaters to stop on the shore, relax, and explore the surroundings of the Roja River.
